"Hope is found in sticking to the roots." Amen to that, Rosie! As we sink our roots deep into God's love (Ephesaisn 3:16-19), meditating on all the blessings he bestows, we do find our hope renewed.
Lovely thoughts! BTW, I was raised on the King James Bible and read it Genesis to Revelation many times as I grew up. Then, in my 50s I was introduced to the ASV and as I read a verse again, for the umpteenth time, I saw something new. So, the ASV Jeremiah 33:3 says, Call unto me and I will answer thee and show thee great things AND DIFFICULT which thou knowest not. The day I read that I understood better about how troubles and tribulations cannot be avoided in this world but that we can always call on Him. And that there are untold numbers of things we can't know or understand. :-)
Thank you for sharing this verse and adding And Difficult! It brought this post together!
After I wrote it, I started adding some of those difficult things. Then decided to do those later as individual posts - it was a flood gate that wouldn't stop!
